28000 8-Channel Voltage Filter/Amplifiers Cards Offer a Wide Choice of Options with Differential Inputs

The 28608B and 28618 8-Channel Programmable Filter/Amplifier cards are ideal for conditioning low-level voltage inputs in front of high-resolution digital data acquisition systems. The 200 kHz programmable filter/amplifier cards allow for up to 128 channels of programmable precision filtering in one 28016 sixteen-card chassis. The differential input of the 28618 allows for connection to grounded loads without introducing ground loops or for measuring bridge type sensors.

The 28608B features a choice of 4 or 8-pole low-pass filters, 4 or 8-pole high-pass filters and 8-pole band-pass filters with a distributed programmable gain of x1/16 to x8192. The 28608B versatile low-pass filters provide programmable characteristics for either time (pulse) or frequency domain (flat) applications with pulse mode cutoff frequencies from 1 Hz to 102.3 kHz and flat mode cutoff frequencies from 2 Hz to 204.6 kHz.

The lower cost 28618 has a distributed programmable gain of x1/16 to x1024 and a versatile 4-pole low-pass filter with five cutoff frequency settings with programmable characteristics for either time (pulse) or frequency domain (flat) applications.
