The NASA Plum Brook Station Space Power Facility (SPF) is at the forefront of a new era in space exploration.

Located in Sandusky, Ohio, the SPF is home to the world’s preeminent space environmental simulation test cells. Before they can blast off, spacecraft are tested to ensure they can withstand the harsh conditions of launch and ascent in the world’s most powerful reverberant acoustic testing facility and on a massive three-axis vibration system. The SPF’s Space Simulation Vacuum Chamber, recreating the conditions found in space, is the largest in the world.

High-stakes testing requires accurate, reliable measurements. To support the wide variety of sensors and large number of measurements taken at the SPF, NASA turned to Precision Filters for high-performance signal conditioning.
