SDAS 16-Channel Data Acquisition System
A Winning Combination
We continue to build momentum around the launch of PFI's new SDAS Precision Data Acquisition System (DAQ). The SDAS combines PFI's industry-leading signal conditioning, modern A/D conversion technology, and extensive self-test capabilities in a single package. Learn More..
Differential Charge for the 28000
To meet the demanding requirements for high-temperature vibration testing using piezoelectric accelerometers, we recently expanded our selection of charge and IEPE conditioner cards for the flagship 28000 system. The new 28344 adds 4 channels/card of differential charge conditioning with programmable gain and filter response (over 200 kHz bandwidth), REZCOMP™ technology, extensive quality control features, and integrated velocity/displacement outputs. 2025 SAVE Symposium Presentation
Optimizing Shock Measurements
We continued our long-standing support of the Shock and Vibration Exchange (SAVE) by contributing a technical presentation to the 95th Symposium held in New Orleans this past Fall. We summarized our recommended approach to conditioning shock signals to prevent distortion of accelerometer signals due to inherent limitations in measurement system circuitry. PFI was also well-represented in the SAVE Exhibit Hall over the 3-day conference. Learn More...
Aerospace Testing Articles
We continued our relationship with Aerospace Testing International Magazine as a contributor of technical content on topics relevant to practitioners in the industry. Our 2025 Annual Showcase article demonstrates how we optimize analog filters to properly condition signals for Shock Response Spectrum (SRS) calculations on sampled data. We also published a quarterly article summarizing our exciting new SDAS technology, as well as a primer on how our charge conditioners outperform standard industry designs for low-frequency signals from high-temperature accelerometers.

Milestones
Recognition
In addition to our 50th anniversary, we were also delighted to celebrate the Lifetime Achievement Award presented to PFI's Doug Firth by the Shock and Vibration Exchange (SAVE) at their 95th Symposium. Over his nearly 40 year career, Doug has worked tirelessly to advance test and measurement technologies in support of the shock and vibration community. From designing world-class signal conditioning products to providing comprehensive instruction on techniques and best practices, his contributions to the field are tremendous and deserve to be recognized. Congratulations Doug!
Stay Tuned for More!
We're looking forward to another year of exciting developments in support of the test and measurement industry, so be sure to stay in touch with PFI in 2026!
